Do you use voice communication in your gaming?  Aurora Fleet uses a Ventrilo server for its voice communications.   Use of voice in Aurora Fleet is optional but encouraged.   Voice is a great tool for getting to know others in the fleet. It is also particularly useful for rapid communication in PVP situations, giving the fleet an upper hand against those who do not use it. If you prefer not to talk in voice chat, it is possible to log in and just listen.  Headphones with a microphone are needed for voice chat, but speakers are sufficient for listening.

Those wishing to access the Ventrilo server must download the Ventrilo client software onto your  PC and configure it for our server.  The Ventrilo software is found at this link.  Ventrilo is freeware, has long been used in the gaming community, and is considered safe for download.  Once installed, configure Ventrilo to match server details, found on our Main Engineering Forum.  Our server is accessible to fleet members only.
